Careers at Torit Montessori School

Torit Montessori School is an Infant through Sixth Grade independent school in Boston’s historic Beacon Hill neighborhood. Our mission is to educate bright and capable students in the spirit of Dr. Maria Montessori’s groundbreaking methods, allowing students to explore materials, ideas, and applications at their own pace, with guidance, direction, and encouragement from teachers.

Working at Torit means joining a community of students, faculty, staff, and administrators of diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences who enjoy working and learning together. As an independent school, Torit offers many opportunities to grow professionally and personally as teachers, mentors, leaders, and contributors to our school.

Torit Montessori School seeks candidates who are excited about and supportive of being in an authentically diverse school community. Torit's high standards of professionalism are maintained through a supportive program of ongoing supervision and evaluation, and a professional development program that encourages employees to grow personally and professionally through workshops, conferences, training, and further education.
