Torit Montessori Elementary School

An Elementary education at Torit builds a solid foundation for the future. With subject matter mastery and hands on applications, your student in grades 1 through 6 will gain self-confidence to find his or her place in the world, and to continue her academic career just about anywhere she chooses.

Our faculty members get to know your student as an individual, guiding him as he develops confidence and mastery in a wide array of academic subjects, and building the kind of work ethic which underlies 21st century skills every global citizen needs, ranging from social interconnectedness to technological entrepreneurship. Additionally, your student will learn how to help others and work cooperatively, supported by dynamic field based learning, historical dramas, science projects, student created yearbooks and newsletters, community service and much more.

In keeping with Dr. Maria Montessori’s own globalism and commitment to peace education, we teach your student, a future world citizen, courtesy, grace, and a spirit of community. We also teach Arabic, Mandarin and Spanish as part of our exceptional curriculum based on the Montessori Great Lessons, all of which is complimented by athletics, art, music, language, and after school enrichment. Our program is designed to support families in the challenging and rewarding work of raising educated, responsible, ethical, and motivated children.
