torit admissions process
Torit Montessori is a unique private school in Boston for elementary students Grades 1 through 6, and infants, toddlers and Prek-K who come from around the world and around the corner. Students are motivated to learn, eager to come to school each day, and encouraged to contribute to the greater good of the classroom and larger community. We invite you to an upcoming Open House to observe our classrooms, ask questions of current parents, and meet with administrators for an overview of our school and answers to your questions. We teach a diverse group of students and enjoy developing partnerships with parents to better understand the students’ individual needs. We are first come, first enrolled. Occasionally we have openings mid-year - please inquire! Staff in early childhood classrooms and elementary grades are encouraged to pursue professional development opportunities to continue their own learning annually.
"Torit is truly dedicated to educating the whole child," said a second grade parent. "I'm always impressed by the vision brought by Torit’s educators to lesson plans, and weaving in the benefits of the city. When the students were learning about Greek mythology, for example, they not only read the history and wrote their scripts for a play but also helped sew costumes, create the set, and walked the city sketching Grecian-inspired buildings they found. They then brought those sketches back to the classroom and built Grecian columns for the play. They are gaining so many skills in the process. . .simply remarkable!"
We invite you to come for a tour, and experience the Torit difference. Please contact our admissions staff using the form below or send an email to Samantha Laboy at email@example.com.
