Title: Lead TeacherClassroom: Preprimary (ages 3 - 6)
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Education from Skidmore College and my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Literacy from Lesley University. I have completed the NEMTEC Montessori classroom training for the 3 - 6 age level. I have taught in several elementary classrooms, and in a number of early childhood centers. I enjoyed the young group of students so much that I earned my early childhood Lead Teacher and Director certifications from the State of Massachusetts. I also hold an Elementary grades 1 - 6 certification. I joined the Torit School at its founding in Summer, 2008 and am thrilled to be here.
I grew up on the South Shore, where my parents still live. I enjoy being very active, running, and playing tennis. My favorite place to do all of these things is on Nantucket, which I visit a few times each summer.
