If you haven't quite made out my accent as yet, I am a Barbadian, born and raised on the island of Barbados in the Caribbean. The Montessori lifestyle has been informally, a part of my growing up experience as I have always had limitless resources to create, explore and subsequently imagine the possibilities while making the outdoors my classroom. I believe that every child's life can only be enriched when they experience the beauty of nature, imagine and create at will, while owning their space.
I am a graduate of the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill and a certified Montessori teacher. I have had many roles in my teaching career, as an English Language and Literature Teacher in Barbados, and Lead Teacher and Head-Teacher while in Bermuda where I have been living for the past ten years with my husband. Apart from the fact that I love travel, good food and entertainment, landscapes, and a really good laugh, I love adventure and Boston and the Torit School offer all of these and more.
