Title: TeacherClassroom: Toddler (ages 15 mos. - 2+)
I studied education and psychology at Salem State College. During the course of that time I did practicum hours in a Salem elementary school. I am applying for my licensure as an elementary teacher with the State of Massachusetts. However, along the way I began teaching part-time with all ages at the Torit School. I enjoyed the environment and the children so much that I took on a full-time role. I am infant/toddler/preschool teacher certified. I also speak fluent Spanish and share that with the children in educationally developmental ways (particularly in the afternoons).
I have a six year old daughter, so I also bring those "Mom" instincts to the classroom. I have lived various times of my life in Columbia, South America. I returning from there after a six - month leave with the Torit School to take on my full-time role for the 2010 - 2011 school year.
