Title: Lead TeacherClassroom: Infant
I earned my degree from the University of Massachusetts in Human Services, with a concentration in "all things child." I knew that I wanted to pursue a career with young children after working in early childhood settings, including Bright Horizons and Kindercare and more intimate settings including a school slightly smaller than the Torit School, in which I was the Assistant Director. I have taught in a range of infant, toddler and preschool classrooms and have chosen to work with infants. I am licensed as a Lead Infant/Toddler and Preschool Teacher and am Director certified by the State to run an early childhood program. Trainings that I have most enjoyed included those in infant art in the Reggio Emilia style and in infant sign language.
I live in Norwood, Massachusetts where I take great care of my rabbit "Midnight." He receives almost as much love and attention as a child would and you will definitely hear me talk about him! I have delighted in coaching Special Olympics for years and continue to do so on the weekends. I love swimming and I am likely to be in the pool on days when I do not see you at the end of your day.
