We have compiled this library of readings recommended by our Staff. The recommendations come in several categories. Books of the Month are highlighted at School each month of the September - May school year with an optional discussion group accompanying them. Books about Montessori are often fairly quick reads and give a wealth of information that will aid in an understanding of "what your child will do all day" in a Montessori environment. The Works of Dr. Montessori are wonderful for the research-inclined reader. Additional suggested readings offer general child-rearing precepts that are applicable to a Montessori environment. Finally, we celebrate works of our own Torit Community Authors (alumni and current family members.)
